I have an awesome CBR for sale, yes it only has just over 5000 miles on it. A good friend of mine purchased this bike from the the people who first reviewed the bike for the motorcycle magazine, the test riders put 330 miles on it then the owner had put the remainder of 4800 miles. It then sat in storage for over 13yrs. my buddy bought it, and working at his motorcycle shop as a tech. manager, replaced all the lines, hoses, anything rubber including carb diaphrams, plus jetting and adding a full stainless exhaust with yoshi. ( that shaves off about 18-20 lbs) new tires, everything was stripped down and cleaned, tank was also redone. brake fluids were flushed and replaced with motul as well as the motor oil. using motul half synth. mix. the timming is advanced by 2 degrees and uses high test. I thought this bike had fuel injection installed, the throttle response is perfect. the dyno was done on this machine and was a near perfect curve with the exhuast gas line being a flat line.. this bike after 5000rpm will suck in your eyeballs. the total cost for total restoration was roughly $1500-2000..my buddy never went and tagged or changed over the title. so im technically the second owner of this near mint machine. he''s on his way to getting married so he needs honeymoon $$so i bought it, and have put some miles it but my wifes got this bug up her ass, and wants to ride with me allot. I''m not comfortable with my riding position with a second person on it( back problems). so either i deal with a passenger or get a cruiser..any questions please ask, I have not set a price yet, but will respond to offers. I''m sure the picture will back me up .Vic
