Hey Syphon!  Long time no see!

I got my bike last year.  It''s a very long story.

Originally I was supposed to have gotten it in 2006, but I chose to get a 1997 VFR 750.

That bike didn''''t fit me right and was too big and heavy so I traded it, sadly, for a beat-up non-working 1993 600f2.

A few months later, the person who now owned that 900rr, my friend...agreed to sell it to me.

He slashed some money off the price when I gave him the f2 with a set of carbs and I couldn''t be happier.  This bike is "the one."

Your BabyBlade looks killer btw!

How have you been doing?   Aren''t you glad you don''t have to read about my f2 anymore?

Mine lifts the front through 3rd sometime 4th depends on how I crack the throttle I have 16-43 (stock) but

cams, stage 2, K&N, 2 Bros fulexhaust, camadvance and airbox mod the scariest that I have had happen was racing a RC51 onto the freeway the bike lifted and normally I can control it but not that night and through 3rd gear and she sat back down dinged off rev limit and the stood up to 10 oclock at about 120. I hit the white line spuun the tire then hit the asphalt and bang up she came scared the shit out of me...

And she handels ok never put my knee down because I dont have pucks but she will get low. Never put a 190 on the back stay with the 180 the 190 screws up the handeling got to force her over now

190''s on the back suck! switching back to a 180 now that its low enough to change. hopefully she will feel a lot different.

anyone used the MAXXIS tires yet? or the SHINKO?

^ Anyway I had dropped the idea of getting the pirelli as well. Too costly! Still undecided which tire to go; something that will last on the straight and good in the corners too.

i noticed a couple ofguys running these shinko tyres on their 100 cbr here, and i''m thinkingf they are good for that size thay gotta be good for us 900 riders lol

just as a pointer, Pirelli corsa work out to around $450 each here, thats how bad things are and thats if you can fnd 1 lol. it is actually cheaper for me to pay by C/C ver net to powersports int, have them send it to my mail box in Miami and then have it sent to me here lol, ok it takes about 3 weeks in all but i save a packet lol

It''''''''s an awesome feeling to know my bike is one of those that can lift the front wheel just by twisting the wrist!

I love my 900rr more and more each day

one of these bikes ? ur bike can flip you right over if it''''s in a good shape and you give it the right amount of throttle

Hey, I live in Alabama and Shinko or Dunlop seems to be the tire of choice around these parts. Some ride Metzler that can afford it, I don''t know if the shinko''s are so popular because of price or handling. I found a Tomahawk rear tire on Ebay for about $80 shipped and decided to try it out since it was sooo cheap! I''ve had it on now for 3 months and it seems to be holding up okay. Ebay also has great deals on Shinko and some other brands as well.
