i got a 88 hurricane i think the shock is bad not sure. are these shocks adjustable for these models if so how do they adjust

very limited adjustments. you can do a spring preload. get a spring collar hook and either loosen or tighten the spring collar to preload the shock. you''ll see around the collar that there is a ramped step that the collar will step into.

there is an adjustment at the bottom of the shock for dampening. you get 3 choices; 1, 2, and 3. goes from soft to hard.
