What in tank carb cleaner do you use?

i had my bike in the shop they didnt pull the carbs and clean them cuz they are not that bad. said an intank claner will fix them up for me.

i usualy use SeaFoam on my Mustang as wel las my Neon and Tarus. I want to use this on the CBR too.

question is do you reccomend something els?

seamfoam works good....but its not a miracle worker...best way to clean carbs is to take them apart...

thanks, and i realize that. but the place i tok it to said there is no need to pull the carbs they look good just a lil bit of deposit in them that a in tank cleaner would clear up.

Yah then you will be ok with seafoam...i used it in my bike and it did some good..i still have a few problems....i also used it in my neon....worked for a tank or two...then my injectors shit the bed and i would get 140 miles to tank...lol

How can they tell your carbs look good and are clean if they didn''t take them apart? That''s just BS. Until you don''t take them out, open the float chambers, take out the jets and look through them, there''s no way of being 100% positive that there are no excessive deposits...

I dont know, i dont do much if anything on bikes. however they were correct a lil seafoam and not it runs perfectly it seemes.

so no harm no foul either way.
