hey guys...just wanted to introduce myself.  Im Dave from KY and i just bought my first bike.  Its a 96 f3 cbr 600.  tell what you think about it.. new stuff: racing clutch stage 2 jet kit brakes Tires owner!! it also has a new paint job, polished rims, d&d exhaust, new forks and has 16000 miles. i gave $2000.  the only problem is that it jumps outta second gear about half the time.  I have been just skipping that gear all together. heres a pic...let me know if it was a good deal

the pic isnt that great, it was from my cell phone.  The bikes a bit dusty right now, rims arent polished but it will be shining soon! The paint was obviously custom, it has blue metal flake in it too which looks really good.  i go to get my permit on monday so i can start riding.  Just got my helmet today and i feel like a little kid in a candy shop...haha.  ill get some more pics when its cleaned.  thanks for the compliments guys

You stated a interesting comment, you getting your permit on Monday?  But, I don''t know where you live, but you can''t ride with a permit all alone.  You need to ride with (along) somebody that has a valid motorcycle license, God forbid if you get stop, they will impound your bike.  Because you not a license rider yet, to be on the safe side, if you can''t find anybody to ride along with, leave it parked at your house instead of the impound.

I know I know, a kid in the candy shop, but candy is cheaper than the impoundment fees and the lost of your permit for 6 months and the ticket.  Also, I live in PA and you can''t get insurance with a permit.

Just my expericence (2 cents)

thats totally different than it is here.  i can ride as much as i want alone, i just cant have a passenger.  i never have to get a license, i can renew it every year.
