Hello fellow CBR Owners, I''m new to the site and may be picking up a 1990 CBR F1 today with 35k miles. for approx $1500, Im concerned about the high mileage and year of of the bike. Do you think this is a good buy or would a later model, with more improvements be suggested? The owner is the 2nd owner and the bike is in great condition with all original plastics on it. Looks good but 35k miles? Thank you for your help!

My bike has 43K on it, still kicking strong. I think someone has like 80K+ on theirs as well. Its all a matter of maintenance by the owners. A bike with 5K miles on it could be a POS if not maintained adequately. If it runs strong and its cosmetically acceptable, that is not a bad deal; esp with orig plastics.
