well just make sure you have a good synthetic oil rated for a wet clutch and its 10W-40. I usually go ahead and get the best fluids i can for a bike whenever i can, oil, coolant, brake fluid, headlight fluid, you know, if it takes fluid i get the best their is because i abuse my bike and it needs all the protection it can get.

In past bikes and current i have run amsoil, royal purple, and now i use mobil 1. I have had no complaints with any of them, or any poor wear to my knowledge. I generally buy whatever of the 3 i can get the best deal on, as an auto tech i have some local hookups. In my old gix (ran it to 87K miles) i used almost strictly royal purple, as i had a good hook on it. Lost that one then used amsoil for a while in my 2nd gixxer, again 40k + and no issues. That dried up last spring and since have used mobil1 in my honda for the last 15k miles and agian no issues. So all brings my opinion that as long as you are using a quality product of some kind you should be just fine. Just dont switch back and forth all the time between syn and regular oil.
