Hi folks,
I bought the alarm but I have no idea how to install it.
I bought the factory plug-in wire harness thinking it would be plug and play, but I am not sure exactly where to plug anything.
Does anyone have pictures of their installation? I have all the options (perimeter sensor, ignition cut-off, etc.).
I am not sure if it plugs in the wiring under the left, front fairing or under the seat... : (
I would appreciate your feedback!
Pat

Vermino's photo gallery
- perimeter sensor under the seat
- module in the rear-seat
- ignition cut-off wasn''t installed because of wire cutting.. rather not cut them

take your time and read the manual - it took me about a good 3-4 hours for me to get it all done and still some more time with tweaking.

pretty much my setup - also, NEVER KEEP YOUR PAGER ON THE KEYRING!!!! - vibrations from the bike will eventually fail the pager.

Hi Vermino,
Thanks for your reply.
The problem I have is that I am not sure where to connect what.
When you take all the plastics off the bike, there is a bunch of wiring and fuses both under the seat but also under the upper fairing, on the left hand side (close to the turn signal)...
If you could let me know where you connected the various elements of the system, that would be great!
Thanks in advance!
Pat

you should just have the rear-cowl (rear-seat fairing) and the rider seat off.. the rest of the fairing you dont need to touch (unless your want it underneath that but it''s very difficult to find one)

it seriously is plug''n''play if you bought the connector kit (you should of been able to pick your year/model)

(i dont have my 06 CBR 1krr next to me) but it''s pretty much hook up the positive to battery, hook up the connector kit to the turn signals*
the manual will let you know where everything goes, once again - nothing needs to be cut or soldered together. just follow the directions and have alittle creativity (where to put/hide the wires) and you should be good to go.

I believe your longest wire will be the battery hookup. (unless you do the cut-off switch, but that will take cutting wires - not my style)

*this will send a current thru the bike turn signals when you turn on/off or set on/off the alarm
