Im rebuilding my front forks, but I cant get the fork tube to seperate from the fork slider.Somebody HELP!!!Ive removed the dust cover and "wire" ring from the tube, also the allen bolt from the bottom and spring.(per the clymer manual)Ive pulled and pulled and worked the fork tube up and down and still cant seem to get it apart!What am I doing wrong am I missing something or what?All help is appreciated!!

you have to yank it apart, you may need one person on each part. and make sure the bolt is out of the very bottom.
