I removed my fuel tank to recoat the inside of it since it was rusted. I get everything back together and now the fuel gauge does this scrolling thing. I take a look at the manual and it says to take it to the dealer as soon as possible. The bike cranks and runs fine, but the fuel and temp gauge doesnt work. Help please!

I ended up figuring it out. I left the battery unplugged overnight to reset the computer. My next question is, is there a learning cycle when the computer is reset?

My bike did the same thing when I installed my PCIII. I didn''t kno what was wrong either so I rode around for about a month without ever knowing how nuch fuel I had. Then I took everything back apart and pluged everything back in. I think my harness wasn''t completely plugged into my gauge cluster. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it fixed the problem.
