okay well i have my motor completly loose from the frame. i am trying to figure out how to loosen the swingarm from the motor. i want to leave the swingarm attached to the bike via the rear shock and just pull the engine... or is there a better way to go about his?? please help!! thanks in advance

Just gotta pop out the swing arm pivot rod, i think its a 24 or 27 mm, then pop it thru just like the rear axle. There are some bearings in the swingarm so just be a bit careful.

is there a special socket for it?? cause the swingarm rod is a female bolt .. but not really sure were to get something like that..lol thanks for your response!!

I always use a pair of vise grips and hex nut. Just find a hex nut that fits into it and then clamp it into the visegrips and your good to go. or you can use a bolt with a hex head that will fit it. ace, lowes, home depot, just about any hardware store will have one to fit.

forgot to say if you use a bolt with the hexhead to fit, then you use two nuts on the thread and back one onto the other and use that with a wrench to loosen the swingarm bolt. Visegrips dont work as well on a bolt, and you can return the bolt and nuts when your done.
