Black-6 polished-2

Thanks for the input TK. I am starting to lean toward the black too now after considering the work to polish it and to keep it clean, the availability of professional paint with only cost of materials, and time, i take classes full time all year and have a dirt bike to keep up and ride...along with several girlfriends haha, ok just one girl friend, a 4x4 truck. all that crap takes up a lot of time. buttttttttt the polished is quite sexy too.

Maybe another thing to point out is that next winter i will be getting a custom paint job for the 54. I personally love pearl white with some sort of graphics and the black frame/subframe/swingarm would off set that very well. but polished with a dark metallic color would be sweet too. This is the first time i have had money and the ability to do what i want with what i have and i see so much stuff that looks great that i cant really decide.

still open to all ideas and suggestions! Thanks everyone!

I would have to say that if your still considering the polished look, just send it to get chromed. Its one thing to do the frame, or even wheels, but to try and get chain grease, brake dust, out of the nooks and crannies is gonna be a bitch.

roger that TK. If i do so, i will be doing the frame, subframe, rims and other random things also over the winter. but so far i think black is going to be the winner, unless someone comes up with a very persuasive argument. Like this photo.....

Thats shiny wow. Not my cup of tea though. I dont want to offer you too many ideas though, cause mine is getting re-done and paint this winter also, should be like a whole new bike.

the chrome and polish is a love/hate kinda thing for me. lol dont give away your ideas, we wouldnt not want to end up with two of the same bike on here.

I Think i have made up my mind though to go with black everything. seems to be the best choice. Im thinking with either pearl white and blue, or dark orange and black paint job, not quite sure yet, i had custom pearl white and blue on my last gixer and it was beautiful, so go with what i know i like or try something new? long time till winter so i will have time to decide.

BLACK. I HAD A POLISHED SWINGARM LAST YEAR AND HATED KEEPING UP WITH IT. IF U WANT TO KEEP IT LOOKING NICE, U HAVE TO POLISH IT AFTER ALMOST EVERY OTHER RIDE. "ONCE U GO BLACK U NEVER GO BACK". SORRY GUYS I WAS THINKING ABOUT MY WOMEN.
