So i know Woo has been making comments about it but i want to start a list of words that cause the site to break and not allow you to post ... when some people can''t post, it''s because you are using words that are reserved and for some reason, the software is crashing on it ... here are the words i have found that blow things up ...

Omit the periods:

U.S.E

W.H.I.L.E

L.I.K.E

H.A.V.I.N.G

W.H.E.R.E (sometimes)

C.O.M.P.A.R.E (sometimes)

Now some of these words work SOMETIMES ... but if you are not able to post see if these words are there and change them ... might help out...feel free to add to the list

******************

Edited by KB to Notify you that clicking on PREVIEW before you post will let you see if your post will go through or not. If it shows errors in preview, click GO BACK TO POST (from preview mode, not your browser) and find the offending word. That way you do not lose any info. and don''t have to retype anything. If it shows the post in preview mode without any errors, your set, just click SUBMIT POST and it should go through (you may want to sel.ect all and copy before you post if you want to be on the safe side).

I will try and keep list updated as members find other words but THE ABOVE WORDS SEEM TO BE THE MAIN CULPRITS.

Here are other words some members say (sometimes) causes them problems:
S e l e c t
I n s e r t I n t o
J o i n
D e l e t e
U n i o n
D r o p

Tried last night to post a link here it is broken up with a Few things removed members . tripod. com/ thede/mffjm.html
and it received this 403 error was encountered

You don''t have permission to access /post pro.asp on this server.

It''s not necessarily just certain words it''s these basic words in combination with others that create the problem. You may be able to use them individually OR coupled with other words, but when paired in certain phrases. It becomes a no-no. A very long time ago V bulletin software suffered the same problem with its 3.0 .something version it was supposed to be an upgrade to help eliminate spam and certain types of language from being posted automatically and it was an intermittent problem. Not something that occurred with each member every time. I''''m not saying that this is the same problem here, but it has all the hallmarks of that exact same problem. It wasn''t till the much newer version was purchased the problem went away. Hell , I was Super Moderator at that forum and was unable to post anything. Of course some people thought that was wonderful lol

I haven''t had any problems posting lately... the only thing that really happens anymore is the double apostrophe, but who cares?

    *knock on wood*
