have ne of yall ever delt with a kick stand that wont stay in the extended position? i push it down so i can lean the bike on it and it just fires back up. i have to hold it down with my foot so i can lean it over. Iv messed with the springs on it. they seem to be bent wrong. ne sugestions?

Sounds like the spring is too tight or the stand is too loose. You may need to replace it. When you buy a new/used one both of the parts should come together.

I''ve heard they sell kits that act like yours is acting. That way the kick stand pops up ''automatically''. I''d never go for it, thats the quick way to having your bike dropped if someone bumps into it just hard enough to take weight off of it.

Definately fix it. Go with ebay or servicehonda.com
