Yes, they do make a cali. ''07 and ''08 model cbr600rr but they don''t "h.a.ve" to stay in cali. Some of the differences that I know of are: 600rr7AC or 600rr8AC are considered the Cali versions in Honda parts catalog. They are 2lbs heavy on curb weight. They contain an Evaporative Emissions Control System, and their throttle body id # is GQ64B not GQ64C.

Yes they have been doing to cali only thing for a while. Really the only difference that I know of is a more strict emissions control.

hey hey, cali is way better than anywhere else. except for colorado.i love colorado. anyways back to bikes, its not any heavier im pretty sure but it has like 3 less horse power because of emmissions. you cant really notice it im telling you this from experience. plus if you mod it up it still gets the same gains, plus if you try and register any other bike here, it will be dummy expensive. so if you live in cali, deal with it or pay the price. in the end we have cleaner air to breath so whateva. i still go fast quickly im not complaining

Thanks skitz for helping with the Hp question. As for being a tad heavy, their curb weight is 412lb as the others are 410lb. This info. is coming from the Honda service manual .

You''re right..its not going to make a difference. I was just being technical and reading from the manual, (wouldn''t want to misguide anyone)....lol

haha i like cali, sorry. some laws here are kinda gay and i do HATE the gangsta scene cuz we get people comin from everywhere who watch mtv and think that they got to make it hood whereever you go. environmentally i like it. everything i like it. but back to this shit again, supposidly every 8 pounds is -1horses. but seriously i really doubt that a stock cali version and a stock out of state version would pull any different times at the track. just dont worry about it and buy a cali version if your here, and if you live outta here, enjoy your extra miniscule horse power and 2 less pounds.
