To all the new members who have come aboard recently -
It''s Sooooooooooo much easier for us to help you find parts, look for bikes, give advice etc
IF WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE
Our community is worldwide, so pleeeeeeeeze fill in the details on your personal data properly-
No good the "older" (in time spent here) members looking for parts in Australia if you''re in Canada, right ?

Sorry longer-serving members, this is a repost, but if we don''t know, we can''t make a worthwhile contribution to help the newer guys - hope you all agree.

Good one Shadow, I agree and am guilty myself. I too wonder where people are from,  fixing now.

Agree with the concept, but on the photos and information sent I have seen that even between same year models there are differences from one country to the other, but at the end the basic concept of the bike remains the same, so feel free to ask if you ever need something from warm and sunny Guadalajara Mexico.

Cheers!!

I''''m new here and I too noticed that many members have not listed their location. This really seems to be a far flung lot of 1000F pilots, which is awesome. I''''ve already gained a lot of knowledge reading on specific subjects and look forward to many more pearls of wisdom. Great forum!

Welcome to the Forum, Tallenuf !
Yes, we''re certainly a far-flung bunch, from Talinn, Estonia, ( Hi Kaska)to good old Ozzzzzzztralia, (G''day Bluebeard, Coopz and others)and all points in between........I''ve never seen a Forum with so many guys willing to give their time to helping others - vary gratifying in today''s world.
The 1KF seems to attract a particular sort of guy, most of us are past the "crotch rocket" stage, but like to surprise the "opposition" now and again, which the 1KF is good at, despite it''s weight.

Now all you have to do is fill in Cardiff, Wales, on your sheet, so all us old codgers don''t have to keep remembering you''re from "Leek Land" he he. My wife''s maiden name was Davies....
pity they scrapped the old Arms Park, went there for a game with Scotland ''way back, cried when 40 000 odd bhoyos started singing "Land of my Fathers"
