Anyone know where I can get the factory service manual for the 94 900rr? I did a search earlier on what engine oil weight to use and 10w40 seems to be the norm and saw that the 96-99 manual is on rrzone.com but didn''t see anything for the 94

Wouldn''t you think that''s the first thing I checked? I obviously could not find anything electronically.

Ok just looked in my Haynes and on all models from 93 to 99 its the same SAE 10W40,API grade SF or SG

94 levels are : 3.1L oil change only

3.2L with filter and 4.0L when rebuilding

hope this helps out

No one knows what anyone would think. It''s a jungle out there. I do see the original blue and white Honda service manuals for the 93-94 quite often on ebay, at least twice a month, and I''m sure most are in stores just waiting for Buy It Now.

Really though, it doesn''t help much. I highly recommend the Clymer. Vastly more packed with useful information "designed for someone attempting the work for the first time". There is nothing about this bike that is not in here:

Usually about $35, but here''s where I got mine for less...

Thanks Spirit, I wouldn''t have figured the Clymer manual would be for all the 900cc RR''s since the factory manual was from 96-98 specifically. I''ll see if I can find one locally
