I just installed a Pimpbike Undertail which I think looks amazing.  Anyway...  I cant figure out how I should remount the lock.  So if someone has some detailed pictures of how they remounted their lock, I would greatly apprieciate it.

?Have to thread jack for just a sec. Why does everyone say excuse the dirt? That is not dirty at all. I have not washed mine since the season started. I find myself wanting to wash it but just riding instead.

It''s not really dirty, but the undertail had mud and dirt.  Its looked a lot worse than the picture showed.

Here is a photo of my locking mech.  Its a crude little setup, but it works.  I used a screw and screwed the triangular piece (dont know what its called) to the right side of my tray.  I got frustrated after a while and didnt know what else to do with it and came up with this setup.  It has worked perfectly since installed.

Hey Rennen, does yours work by remote?  That looks a lot like the aftermarket actuators that I added to my Colorado.

Yeah I have a pre drilled hole for the lock.  When I was taking it all out the spring and stuff popped out and I dont know how it all goes back together.  That and I really didnt pay a whole lot of attention while taking it apart.

i just put a momentary switch on the bottom of the undertail. when i got the bike, it didnt have a lock to open the truck, there was just a cord you pulled on to open it. anyone could open it, so i got a power lock actuator and wired it up to the tail light so that it can only be opened when the key is in the ignition.

Thats exactly how mine looks, I have noticed that the seat does to get stuck some times and I have to give it a little tug for it to pop off.
