Morning,
Mine has just started exhibiting a vibration, enough to cause me to have to pull over. Couldnt see anything loose etc, so carried on, vibration gone! Excellent I thought. Every now and again vibration kicks back in, it is from my right caliper. It seems the disc is slightly warped and the caliper is moving against the disc on the sliding pin system! You can physically see the caliper moving about on every turn of the front wheel! I have ordered new pads to see if that will help, but am kind of resigned to the skimming/new disc route unfortunately.

Hi Ara - maybe a good secondhand on e-Bay ?- quite a few on the UK site as I recall, and as ye''re frae Bonnie Scotland........

Hi,
Its weird, having stripped the front caliper hangers, it seems tha the fault lies not with the disc but with the receptacle that the caliper pin slides in. It seems to kind of oscillate, and there are score marks down the inner shaft. I have used some silicon grease to see if that cures it, and ordered some pads. A mate works at an engineering shop with a lathe, so will try that before getting new discs.
