I went down at probably 50 mph or less and my knee came out looking like yours, but the rest of my leg was ok. Hope you and your bike make a full recovery.

The crazy part is most people I see riding newer superbikes are usually wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Occasionally a helmet...

what kind of options are there for leg protection besides leather?? Im all about wearin gear, but I think there has to be a compromise. NOT saying that no gear is good, I just don''''t want to have to bundle up like a 3 year old who''''s going to wait for the bus in -3 degree weather, with snow boots, long johns, heated socks, 4 shirts, 3 sweaters a scarf backlava touque and parka to go down the street.

And I just looked up to to the last post, because im a champ..
