not sure who remembers my 2nd post on here.
http://www.cbrforum.com/m_567167/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm

Got my bike back last week...you can kinda see the dull spots in the paint on the gas tank and tail where I just painted over the road rash. I plan on doing a full repair of the tank cover and tail cowl with jb weld, bondo, lots of sandpaper and all that mess pretty soon.

brand new

-sad bike

what it looks like today
and yes I know my half mangled stock exhaust is really ugly

very bad color

guess I would finally put this up too.
jeans+going over 80mph=no good

It''''s all healed up now other than a very small scab where it was previously a gaping hole in my knee

thanks guys...the mountain in the backround is the one I went down on. Just today on my way up there someone said there was a bike accident earlier that day. Rode up there and there were broken plastics all over the same turn I went down on.

Hopefully guy faired better than me

I go to the mountain I have my leathers on for that very reason (your leg). Thats shyt HURTS. I''ve never been that bad, but what lil I have had was enough to teach me. I do wear jeans for around town tho, but have the rest of my gear on.

Glad ya healing up too. And that I''m not the only one with chicken legs

You were wearing jeans? I must have been lucky when I went down in jeans at 70 mph on the freeway and only came out with this...............

I mean, I STILL wear the jeans I went down in too! Guess it depends on "how" you do down too. Glad to hear you are alright though........and the bike too.

damn bluefox, that isn''t much at all.

was probably only 15-20mph faster than your crash..but I was also hanging off the bike in a deep left hand turn. I am pretty sure most of the actual damage was from the split second where the bike lowsided while i had my knee out. Bike pretty much landed on my left leg

WTF i got jipped!

my 40 mph lowside ripped 3 holes in my jeans... and it burned the edges of the holes and i had blue on my ass and leg for a couple days after that cause it had burned onto it...

i ordered my flushmounts from cbrheavenusa and the polarity(i think thats what the guy at the shop called it) was backwards on their plug N play connectors, so i had to cut all the connectors off on my side and on the new signals and wire them up myself.

Was still very easy
