In my experience, KBB is accurate unless your bike has been crashed. Mods don''t bring you anything more when selling. New tires, sprockets, etc will get the bike sold faster when you are ready to sell. Some people say the 1000''s are easier to ride on the street because of the low end power, but I personally enjoy revving the shnit out of my bike instead of holding back all the time. It''s all about flickability and usable power in my book. But nobody can knock you for getting a 1000, just opinions here!
