ok so i have the 2006 f4i blue and black, and i might be selling it NEXT summer but im wondering about how much i might b able to get, i did the dual seat conversion i have a hardrock exhaust plus the stock can and seats and all that with about 6500 miles on it by next summer

PlayfulGod -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:02:48 PM)

why sell it?

f4ez -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:06:27 PM)

f4ez -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:14:32 PM)

ust booked i through nada and it said 7100 but u think that is a little high...input?

F4Isvt -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:28:31 PM)

Do what I do collect them. I have 4. 1 is a pos 1 is a border line pos and 2 are nice. But I still have four running bikes.

PlayfulGod -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:40:12 PM)

why do you think you want to or need to upgrade to more cc''s for?

F4Isvt -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:43:44 PM)

^^^^ good question I think 600 is a perfect size. never rode a 1000 but I am happy with 600. The biggest bike i have is a 1100 but its a 82 gold wing.

f4ez -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 7:54:43 PM)

because i rode my brothers 1000 and it has a lo more to it a lot more bottom end on my bike i hafta run it at lke 9k just to keep the power comin u kno and i want more, and svt i would collect but i cant afford all that right now my bike is almost paid off so i would take what i get out of that and put it down on a new bike or buy used

Mustangred -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 8:48:12 PM)

I might be doing the exact same thing. I''m wanting to upgrade and a 1000 to me sounds perfect. My friend has a R1 and he let me take it for a ride and it was crazy but I loved it and that was one thing that I really noticed was the low end power. Only thing I didn''t like was the front wheel poppin up on me sometimes. I wouldn''t mind getting a cbr 1000 but if not I will go with a zx-10r.

PlayfulGod -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/25/2008 9:06:42 PM)

power n speed hungry. k gotca. lol. My 600 has enough power @5k to run aff n leave everything I encounter on the street daily. Guess I just out grown having to have that oh shyt feeling in my pants from every lil throttle twist. I wouldnt mind a older 900RR or RC tho.

wishin4600rr -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/26/2008 4:57:24 AM)

Keep your 600...I don''t want to see your name in the Obits.

WOT -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/26/2008 7:58:33 AM)

In my experience, KBB is accurate unless your bike has been crashed.  Mods don''t bring you anything more when selling.  New tires, sprockets, etc will get the bike sold faster when you are ready to sell.

Some people say the 1000''s are easier to ride on the street because of the low end power, but I personally enjoy revving the shnit out of my bike instead of holding back all the time.  It''s all about flickability and usable power in my book.  But nobody can knock you for getting a 1000, just opinions here!

bkzshabbaz -> RE: might b selling my bike need input (6/26/2008 6:53:11 PM)

Post it for 100 < KBB Retail OBO. It tells buyers you know what your bike is worth, but are willing to work something out with the buyer. Your short term goal is to get high interest and get people to come check it out, after that, it''s pretty straight forward. Good luck with your sale (if you decide to sell).
