Do what I do collect them. I have 4. 1 is a pos 1 is a border line pos and 2 are nice. But I still have four running bikes.

^^^^ good question I think 600 is a perfect size. never rode a 1000 but I am happy with 600. The biggest bike i have is a 1100 but its a 82 gold wing.

I might be doing the exact same thing. I''m wanting to upgrade and a 1000 to me sounds perfect. My friend has a R1 and he let me take it for a ride and it was crazy but I loved it and that was one thing that I really noticed was the low end power. Only thing I didn''t like was the front wheel poppin up on me sometimes. I wouldn''t mind getting a cbr 1000 but if not I will go with a zx-10r.

power n speed hungry. k gotca. lol. My 600 has enough power @5k to run aff n leave everything I encounter on the street daily. Guess I just out grown having to have that oh shyt feeling in my pants from every lil throttle twist. I wouldnt mind a older 900RR or RC tho.

In my experience, KBB is accurate unless your bike has been crashed.  Mods don''t bring you anything more when selling.  New tires, sprockets, etc will get the bike sold faster when you are ready to sell.

Some people say the 1000''s are easier to ride on the street because of the low end power, but I personally enjoy revving the shnit out of my bike instead of holding back all the time.  It''s all about flickability and usable power in my book.  But nobody can knock you for getting a 1000, just opinions here!

Post it for 100 < KBB Retail OBO. It tells buyers you know what your bike is worth, but are willing to work something out with the buyer. Your short term goal is to get high interest and get people to come check it out, after that, it''s pretty straight forward. Good luck with your sale (if you decide to sell).
