I grabbed one for myself. Cheapest set of leathers one can buy in Canada (Store prices START at $800 here).

I got this suit ($275), with the sliders for under $300. Perfect for track duty, and spirited street riders. I''''m 6'''' and sturdy build... size 50 with a backprotector fits about as well as it could. Any smaller and I''''d be turbo-wedge, any bigger and it''''d be too big.

That looks like a nice suit, how is the armor padding in it. I''m 6 ft and around 200 pounds, do you think the 50 would fit me?

I am 6'' tall - I weigh in at 220 but I''m square as opposed to pot bellied (worth mentioning).

So the suit fits my back length really well. Hip to knee could be a 1/2" too long... but on the bike in a tuck that distance is fixed.

The leather is heavy - I mean an effort to hold up on a coat hanger. The packaging said 13lbs but that would be surprising to me.

The back pad is the generic foam stuff. I do wear a Bohn back plate, and it fits in the suit so I''ll keep wearing it.

The knees and elbows feel good - foam padding again, but a good thickness, covered by a good thick layer of leather. I''m not worried about it.

It is a 2pc suit, but it has a full zip, so you can treat it as a 1pc suit... I havent'' unzipped the two halves yet and put it on the same way I put a 1pc on.

The only question mark is 50 or a size smaller. That depends mostly on your back length, and too a lesser extend shoulder width. If you''re built like me, the 50. If you''re physically smaller, or shorter backed, then a size smaller would tighten up the rest of the suit. I''d like some parts to be a bit tighter honestly... but in position it''s good.

They are really good to deal with for returns as well...

wow thats a great deal, the only thing is that 2pc doesnt have perforations like the 1pc that is for sale for 299 on motorcycle closeouts. I do like the idea of being able to zip it apart and jsut have the jacket, plus its $25 cheaper. Need opinions, which one should i go for. the one peice with perf. or 2 peice so i can seperate it
