Hello all Honda fans!!! I recently bought a 2004 cbr 1000rr and was wondering what average running temp. is and what temp. it has to be to overheat or possibly damage my engine??? someone please respond with some good stuff!!

I have a 04 too and it runs between 200-220 on street and around 190 or so on hwy not sure what temp it will over heat at.

Thanks man,,,,,mine sitting still stays steady around 220-224,,,that ain''t much off yours and i also have a akrapovic slip with a power commander.... new to this big of bike and didn''t want to lock it up,haha,,,,,,got only 2150 or so miles,,,,bearly broke in i expect... again thanx

The bitch runs HOT! 180-190 cruzin , stuck in traffic 235+ and thats with a Muzzy fan
