Well I finally got my decals from the dealership, and here is the final product. I apologize for the picture quality. Go ahead and click the links to make the pics bigger. For those wondering, I painted them with rattle cans from the colorite website.

I was thinking about blacking out some more panels. I have some semi-gloss black in the garage that os looking more and more appealing every day. I was busy spending time making the lowers as glossy as I could.

Thanks all! It took a lot of hand polishing, but still think I can get them shinier. I am afraid to use a polisher because I think it will melt the paint off all the edges. The things are too curvy. I would appreciate some pics of the mids and heatshields in semi-gloss black or even flat black if you guys have them. Post up!

I sprayed 3 coats of red and 3 coats of clear. The paint is fast-drying like that used for automobiles, so it was easy to keep "piling" it on.

    You had to ask??? LOL!

It all still looks the same other than I have the brushed-aluminum-looking CBR lettering from the 08 1000RR.

Foxy, as usual, your bike is beautiful. I guess gloss black is always an option.
