Awesome bignibb! Im glad you went with the light windscreen by Memphis....Its the nicest one in my opinion. I always thought the tinted screens give the illlusion of a raised or higher profile.

Looks good, not too partial to the clear screen, but everyone likes thiers a little different. I was thinking of changing to that kinda mirror too. Seen a lot of them recently, look better than the big ones sitting on front. Good job, nice touch! LJ

I''m not a big fan of the overal general appearance but it was more about function. it provides better wind protection and it is different. it looks great from the saddle and that''s what''s important to me. it isn''t an illusion, it does make for a higher profile whether its a clear or tinted version. it takes some getting use to, its not as sexy or sleek as the stock style but extremely functional. the mirrors are awsome I havnt had a chance to test them out until today because my stator crapped on me but I rode it 5 miles to the shop to get it checked out and wow all rear view, no elbows or shoulder or even me in the mirrors and no bad vibrations. now if your more about looks then function, the cockpit will not be your first choice but the bar-end mirrors clean up the looks of the bike, they only add a lil to the length of the handle bars and they allow a far better field of view of any mirrors I have tried on any of my motorcyles in the past.

You sounded like an informercial for those mirrors. I like my CF ones, but I think you just sold me. Lol. LJ

ORIGINAL: bignibb it isn''''t an illusion, it does make for a higher profile whether its a clear or tinted version. Nibb, What I meant was I like the clear ones (like the one you got) because the tinted ones raise the profile visually. When I see a tinted windshield, I see a higher front end. A clear windscreen gives the bike a lower/ meaner sportbike look because your eyes dont focus on the windscreens height...You see through it! Thats what I meant about the "illusion"''. Everyone has their preferences...I think you made a great choice.
