Awesome bignibb! Im glad you went with the light windscreen by Memphis....Its the nicest one in my opinion. I always thought the tinted screens give the illlusion of a raised or higher profile.

Looks good, not too partial to the clear screen, but everyone likes thiers a little different. I was thinking of changing to that kinda mirror too. Seen a lot of them recently, look better than the big ones sitting on front. Good job, nice touch!

I''m not a big fan of the overal general appearance but it was more about function. it provides better wind protection and it is different.

it looks great from the saddle and that''s what''s important to me.

it isn''t an illusion, it does make for a higher profile whether its a clear or tinted version.

it takes some getting use to, its not as sexy or sleek as the stock style but extremely functional.

the mirrors are awsome I havnt had a chance to test them out until today because my stator crapped on me but I rode it 5 miles to the shop to get it checked out and

wow

all rear view, no elbows or shoulder or even me in the mirrors and no bad vibrations.

now if your more about looks then function, the cockpit will not be your first choice but the bar-end mirrors clean up the looks of the bike, they only add a lil to the length of the handle bars and they allow a far better field of view of any mirrors I have tried on any of my motorcyles in the past.

You sounded like an informercial for those mirrors. I like my CF ones, but I think you just sold me. Lol.

and you might expect to pay 100, 200 bucks for these mirrors?

no no no. if you act now you can get these great bar-end mirrors for the low low introductory price of ....

lol.....

well they are plastic with real glass mirrors and they were not a direct fit and required some modifications (which means some cutting, filing, and a lil drilling) but the end result was worth it.

oh they were only $40 bucks for both and if you check around I''''ve seen prices as high as $100.00 bucks just for 1.

Nibb, What I meant was I like the clear ones (like the one you got) because the tinted ones raise the profile visually. When I see a tinted windshield, I see a higher front end. A clear windscreen gives the bike a lower/ meaner sportbike look because your eyes dont focus on the windscreens height...You see through it! Thats what I meant about the "illusion"''.

Everyone has their preferences...I think you made a great choice.

Bar end mirrors are great, you''ll start wondering why everyone doesn''t use a set.  I have one bar end mirror left, the other commited suicide.  It was built like crap with hot glue holding the glass on, which melted in the sun and flew off on the highway.  I caught it, put it back on with epoxy, and it fell off again during a hard pull in 2nd.  Please let me know how those hold up at speed, I''d really like a set I don''t have to re-adjust all the time or worry about exploding on me.

hey I found these but they are a lil pricey but should give the same effect as the cockpit windscreen
