Hello I''m new here and in need of some help/tips when it comes to shifting my CBR600 Hurricane.

I''ve taken the BRC and the Street Smart Class. In the class I could shift up and down without problems. But when I get on my cbr oh buddy

It seems like the shift lever is placed funny, side another way I have to turn my foot in at an angle in order to shift up.

My husband rode it yesterday after watching me ride and agrees that the lever is oddly placed compared too his R1. Now he is trying to talk me into getting a smaller bike (250/500) and not a Honda.

I want to keep my Honda, I love it. But I am starting to think this shift lever is going to be the end of me.

Does anyone have this problem or is it me?

Hi and welcome to the board!  The shift lever is adjustable up and down a bit but not side to side.  Pics would be a great help.
