A customer of ours put a Yosh slipon (RS-5) on his otherwise stock bike and picked up an immediate bad surge/misfire/whatever you want to call it between roughly 2500 and 3200 rpms. After 3200 it screams as expected. It has a PCIII USB; mapping the fuel RADICALLY in both directions does NOTHING to smooth it out between 2500 and 3200. Unplugging the flapper servo motor didn''t do anything except throw an FI light. We encountered a CBR600RR some time ago that reacted the same way (that was a Dunlop-owned tire test bike and the Honda guys at the Dunlop facility didn''t have a clue either). WTF???

P.S. The exhaust butterflies were eliminated when the system on the 1000RR was installed (can''t remember for sure about the 600RR). A message with Yosh tech support went unanswered. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could try and remove the PC3 and just run the factory computer. See if it clears up. Then you know its either a bad map or the PC3 itself. ALso, the PC3 may just not be taking the new map for some reason.

On a side note, you can run a slip-on without a PC3. The factory computer is good enough for just a slipon.
