I just bought a 08 600RR.  I have not taken past 9,000 RPMs yet because I am taking it easy for the first 600 miles.  Anyway the bike is superb.  My brother is getting a new bike and he is thinking about a liter bike.  How much should he worry about the ergonomics?  We plan on going on many long day trips.  The 600RR is very comfortable but I am afraid the liter bikes are just too uncomfortable.  Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Long interstate rides suck on my 06 1kRR. My lower back starts to hurt a bit after the 2nd hour. I still made my one-way 6 hour trip to the dragon and my lower back was the only thing hurting me. I can ride curvy roads all day an typically not get sore.

I think the ergos for the new ''08 1K are very similar to the ''07-''08 600RR. Neither are as comfy as a cruiser, but both are slightly better (easier on the rider) than the previous models.
