$145 for a set seems too cheap to me.

I was looking for a new tire last week and saw them I didn''t cheap out but I am interested if they are any good.

em the set cost as much as one PP rear. I''ll pass, but I have met a guy that loves them, and saw where several hate em. If you drag race (on a track) or love doing burn outs. Then IMO they are ok. Would I trust em hugging the twisties like I try to do?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! [:D]

i bought myself a 009 tire and didn''t have a chance still to ride and test it out. if i do, i''ll try to compare them to my dunlop sportmax with which i bought the bike[:)]

They are great for the price I believe they got 4 stars out of 5 on cycle world mag, they say they are not track tires obviously but they preform just fine if not great on the street for regular twisty riding.  Drag racers LOVE them too.

+1.

From what I have been told, they are thicker (and heavier) and they last longer for drag racing (and they are cheaper). You can tell by looking at the profile that they wouldn''t be the best for curves.
