My lcd display and tach turn completely off when idling, then the bike usually dies.  Already replaced the battery and the stator was supposedly just replaced.  Also, lcd display dims alot when high beam is turned and the bike is moving.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry I''m not a mechanic so I don''t know the correct terms for the parts.  But I had a similar problem a while ago....my battery was ok, but draining fast after charging.  Turns out it was a bad cable/connector running from the battery to the engine.  You may wanna have that checked.  In my case I did the same as you...I replaced the battery.  Luckily when they found the real problem, they put my old battery back in and refunded my money.

my stator was replaced all of 8 months ago and less than 1500 miles and she done crapped on me again,so don''t go eliminating that out automatically.

my bike does exactly what you say yours is doing and its due to the the charging system not supplying enough power to the battery and to run the bike.

bad battery, or bad stator, or bad regulator rectifier.

or a combination of the three or all three!

or it could be bad wires, connector, or ground or something came lose.
