I had mine up at 148 once. Fast enough that it got a little squirrely on me. Was with my buddy who was on his '03 R1 at the time and said his speedo read 140ish. Probably could have pushed it a little further, but backed it off. The speeds do all look the same over 110 anyway in my opinion. I do about 200mph pretty often while I am at work for fun, but that's not on a bike!!!

What were you driving that goes 200 mph?

im a little skeptical on this number. unless there was one hell of a gust of wind, or you --- i dunno. seems kinda out there, esp for a 02 f4i

I have a 2002 F4i, and the fastest that I have went was a 142mph and I was at 9,000 rpms. I redline at 14K, what is the maximum speed can this bike go? I have done nothing to the bike for performance, its all stock. How fast have you taken it?

Skeptical? Well, there was no wind that day, and I weigh in at 140 lbs, so I don't see how this could be skeptical. But who knows right? maybe I was doing 190 mph and my speedometer is broken, lol.

Lucky bastard I guess after a while the thrill wears off but I'd love to try my hand at that at least once before I die.

119 is tops for me so far. I was telling a friend of mine that I've been over a 100 on my bike more in 4 months then I've been over a 100 in my car over the last 4 YEARS! I've got a pretty fast car (Acura TL type-S) and my bike makes my car seem like it's broken...

Haha A TLS is fast!!!??? What does it run High 14's/Low 15's? SLLLOOOOWWWWWWWWW. A pretty sweet car though. Its also a lot easier to go over 100 on a bike, get on the gas and before you know it your going over 100 on the speedo. You really dont realize it until you look down.

I dont know if its just me but hey ill put my two cents in anyways. Before I put any performance parts on the 02 f4i it would top out at 176mph, and thats with a 145 lb guy tucked as low as I could go. After a sprocket change of -1in front and +2in rear, it still will get it up to 173, with low grade octane it was hard to get to 165. Also, like someone else said, you have to account for the speedo being off.

Now the bike has a mapped power commander IIIR and runs on high octane fuel that my Bro gets from the Airport. Getting a full exhaust system put on it also. And will probably have to get it re mapped because of it but the guys at the Honda shop told me that it will be pretty hard to keep the bike on two wheels after that. It has crazy quick throttle responce the way it is. Cant wait to see how retarded I get when the exhaust is on there.

Mods:
Vortex sprockets -1+2
Flushmount font turnsignals
Fender Eliminator
Targa Seat Cowl
Frame sliders
12 O'clock bar
Pig Spotter mirrors
MultiColor LED kit
Rear turnsignal eliminator
PowerCommander IIIR
K&N Air Filter
And all the windscreen bolts were replaced with some sharp ass spikes, really gives the bike a nice "BadAss" look

Future mods:
Steering Dampner
Air shift kit
And maybe an engine bore if need be.

Had my '01 F4i up to an indicated speed of 160 and it had about 500-700 RPM left before it hit the redline. I haven't went that fast since then, but it sure was an adrenaline rush!!!

On my bike with my gearing -1 in the front and +2 on the rear my bike hits the redline in 6th gear with the speedo reading 158. I was kinda dissapointed but expected it to be low with the gearing

160mph indicated. I had to weave through some cars, and I was going up a slight incline, I think I could've done faster if I was going the other way.

i had mine doing 252km/h (158mph) at 13000rpm... but it takes like forever to hit redline.... there was once i was riding at 230km/h (144mph) but my fren who was riding side by side with me on a Yamaha FZ1 claims he's riding at 260km/h (162 mph) .... weird

The most I've seen on my 2001 is 173. No matter how many times I try, I can't seem to get past that. Run out of road, traffic, any thing to slow me down.
