cbr600f4iftw -> Performance help (6/30/2008 3:22:19 PM)

here are my specs. ''''03 F4i with scorpion slip on, PCIII, +2 in the rear. Now in my opinion this bike should be coming up in the front like no ones business. Unfortunately, i can''''t get the front wheel to come up to save my life. about the only time it comes up is at redline in 1st gear and only a couple inches. what could be the problem?

Not to be a smartass, but its got to be rider error.  My only mods are PCIII and -1 in the front, and I can definitely get it up and carry.  This is the first bike I''ve owned that would wheelie, and I''ve only had it 2 months.

I''m guessing you''re just rolling up and not clutching?

Mine will pull the front wheel up in first and float it in second. All I have is an erion slip on. I only weigh 160 though.

cbr600f4iftw -> RE: Performance help (6/30/2008 5:20:07 PM)

No i''''m not clutching at all, i was hoping with all mods i wouldn''''t have to...
i''m about 160 myself, i guess i just heard so many people talk about there F4i reaching for the sky with all the same mods as me...

FLYOU -> RE: Performance help (6/30/2008 6:14:17 PM)

give it some gas up to 7k rpm, left off the gas briefly, then give it all she''s got. she''ll come up.

don''t kill yourself.

Hayden06F4i -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 5:40:31 AM)

its definetly how your going about it. you either need to clutch it up, or use the method FLYOU recommend....be careful.

also check out the stunters corner for more details/opinions.

orags -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 7:34:21 AM)

Also check what could happen if it all goes wrong! Good luck.

+1

Sounds like he needs a rider mod. If he cant figure out that he has to clutch the bike to make it come up, he might as well sell it. What did he think he put those baby mods on his bike and turned it into a cbr1000?

Aken -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 1:24:19 PM)

Such a misleading topic title...

blackmanon600rr -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 1:43:30 PM)

i bet that nigga''''s just scared

blackmanon600rr -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 1:45:37 PM)

that nigga just needs to learn how to ride, he''s got a long way before he''ll be able to do that with a bitch on the back

f4iWheeliemasta -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 2:09:43 PM)

if you can get the bike up sell it. your not experienced enough if you dont realize that its not a tourque monster such as a 1000 or a vtwin.  either go get some fat ass broad to sit on the back or stop being a bitch and use your clutch.

kiai -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 2:37:19 PM)

the f4i can wheelie off power tried that once easy to come up tho but not as easy as my 900''s just accelrate lightly to the power band not to get too fast and then let go and snap it open at once watch not to loop tho !!!

cbr600f4iftw -> RE: Performance help (7/1/2008 3:03:45 PM)

Seriously, i didn''t post for you people to insult me. I''ve just heard of the F4i with similar mods being able to power wheelie with ease. Relax. I was simply asking if maybe i was lacking power for one reason or another because it doesn''t come up as easy as i assumed without clutch. Thanks everyone who had the courtesy to speak to me with some respect...

and honestly.. to you people speaking of wheelies with a girl on the back, i think you should sell your bike... what a disgusting display of lack of respect for someones life.
