Hello! i''m really excited to be working on what could be my first bike but .......ummm...., where too start.... a friend and i have picked up 1 basket case 92'' f2 w/ no plastics and barely runs. When we got it started i noticed one of the exhuast runners instantly became VERY hot and the others were cool to the touch. What would cause this? carbs? timming? detionation? Any help would greatly help

The other cylinders are not running at all or just not consistantly which could be your spark plugs or wires. The carbs probly need a good cleaning also.
