well hummmm how much money you have ?
you could do
Engine Internals. [ Pistons / Cam shafts / Head porting ] not something everyone can do , i know i cant :) avg cost your looking at 500- 5000 dollars
you could slap a turbo on it :P 3500 + bucks
Nitrous ?

those are the other performance mods i can think of atm

No you got it all wrong...you need "1000" stickers on it instead of 600. lol

f4ez -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/1/2008 9:18:22 PM)

o hell yea and maybe some flames and a blue neon right

Stephens -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/1/2008 9:21:38 PM)

Seriously, the F4i is still a very fast bike. Engineers spent alot of time and work designing your bike for the best performance. If you really want more speed than 150+ mph. Save your money and invest into a 1000RR or even a Hayabusa 1300. But I personally don''t go over 100 very often, its fun but I know I can do it. Most of my fun is zipping around town.

f4ez -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/1/2008 9:24:34 PM)

im not concerned with oing overly fast i just want more bottom end

Stephens -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/1/2008 9:44:21 PM)

Oh, thats easy, change out your sprockets and chain. stock is 16/46 teeth. Take it to a 15/46 and you will see your low end increase.

Martins -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/1/2008 9:48:00 PM)

well you could do some mods to the engine thats going to give ya some more power . but can shorten your engine life :P

you could always get some new rims :) its like putting your bike on a diet, you get some more speed by dropping weight

How about setting-up suspension correctly and some trackdays like California Superbike school?

StreetPower -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/3/2008 8:19:41 AM)

yes i think the penske shock, 929 front end, 600rr swingarm, adjustable rearsets are the best performance upgrades in term of performance....

devlzluv -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/3/2008 9:13:21 AM)

Ya def suspension upgrade before touching ur engine. But u can spend 5k alone in that. Look into making her better not more powerful cuz ur bikes gotta be able to handle the power u put into it

Gutter -> RE: performance upgrades? (7/3/2008 9:36:46 AM)

+1 for suspension upgrades.  Especially if you are on the heavier side of 180lbs, it can be really easy to bottom your forks!

+1... suspension should always come before power.
