title kinda says it all

how safe (or dangerous) is it to run a slip-on pipe (that is spring secured) without the supporting bracket? with the vibration from the road and what not risk having it come off?

basicly, anything wrong with running the bike, without the giant passenger/exhaust bracket?

I would call it bad workmanship to leave off the support bracket.  Feel free to remove the passenger footpeg though.

Even on race bikes when they remove the original passenger footpeg bracket, they usually put an exhaust bracket on there.
