Hey ya''ll I am new here.  Looking to buy a bike and needing some advice.  I am really a fan of Honda stuff, but not really set on anything.  Looking for something that is kind of affordable and pretty much just to commute and pleasure ride on, I am not really a wheelie/racing kind of guy.  I have been looking at a CBR600 of some sort.  What would you recommend for me.  Advantages/disadvantages of a 600RR or a 600F4.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is this your first bike? If it''s mainly for commuting, I think I would buy a CBR F4i. I think the seating position is going to be more comfortable.

Good choice with picking a Honda. I know a guy on this forum who has over 100k miles on his F4i.

Aslo, you might want to post this same question in the F4i and 600RR sections. More people will see it over there.

And last, but no least... [sm=welcomesign.gif]

There''s also the question of what type of commuting do you do?  Do you go through the city, or do you hit the highway a lot?  If you do more city riding, the RR will be painful.  Don''t forget, RR stands for Race Replica, so if you''re not interested in "racing", and want a real practical bike, the F4i seems to be the one for you.

If you are doing slow city driving the smaller the  better... I hate commuting on my F4, it is always getting hot in the stopped traffic... actually I cage now more than with any other bike I''ve owned as a result. I''m seriously considering grabbing a ninja 250 - better gas mileage, didn''t mind the heat as much... Now as soon as we get over 20mph - I can''t say enough good about the F4 (and later F4i models).
