Last night something happened to my throttle, it became very loose and would take almost a quarter turn to get any responce.  I''m guessing that one of my throttle cables broke.
When I get home I''ll take her a part and look at her, but I''m going to replace both cables while I''m there.

The local shop has the "A" cable for a 2000 in stock, but not the "B".
He does have a "B" cable for a 2001....
I know that it has a different part number 17920-MBW-000 vs 17920-MBW-D20....

Does anyone know if this will work?
Figuring anyone who has done the F4 to F4i conversion would have know....

Thanks

Toaliosis

I would assume since its a diff part # it wouldnt fit without some type of modification. I would take your off and take it up to the shop and compare the two, or call around to other shops and see if they have the right part# in stock.

Yeah, I called all the 3 Honda Shops around, they are they only one to have anything.

I went during lunch and picked them both up.
Worse comes to worse I just have to take back the ''01 cable.

I called the local motorcycle junk yard, but they said they need me to bring it up to match it up....don''''t know if I can get home, get them off and get up there to get one.

The F4i cable is too long, so I had to order the F4 B cable.
So in the mean time I''ll change my oil, brakes pads and my front brake fluid.

Everyone have a fun and safe 4th of July
