I am buying a 94 CBR 600 F2 from a friend and it was previously stolen by an old squater that use to live with him.

I need to replace the ignition and the gas cap and was wondering if I can use one from an F3 or a newer bike?

Thanks in advance guys.  I''m going to be asking more questions in the future as this is my first bike :)

Thanks Bud.   As I stated it''s my first bike so I''ll have lots of questions.   Never ridden a bike.  But my buddy needed some cash and offered me the bike for $900....couldn''t pass it up!!   Already signed up for the MSF class :)

I''ve spent the last few years tinkering with cars (chopped a ''55 suburban, have a few old cars and have done some new stuff).   So i''m looking forward to turning a wrench on a bike.
