first off, howdy this is my first post :) second off. I'm stuck in my decision to go RC-51 or the sexy Repsol for my new bike. the RC is what i have been desiring for a logn time, but now the repsol has caught my eye. I have a feelgin you guys will point me to the repsol but i was just curious if anyoen has had experience with both who can give their opinion thnx

The problem with the RC51 is that it only runs on two cylinders!! Seriously though, I have ridden the RC and I dont get it. It seems nice but is a little heavy and riding a twin is ALOT different than a inline four, at least it has a decent aftermarket support. So if you need anything for a RC there are options...I guess it comes down to your preference really

i dont know if you can really compare the two. But my advice is to get what you want, not what you think other people think is cooler. i mean it comes down to who's rding the thing. Dont be a poser, be a rider.

I too had my eye on an RC51 for quite some time and also looked at the SV1000...but when it comes down to it i've never ridin a v-twin before and they're just not the kind of power you'd think...its up to the rider like they say...but know what your getting yourself into...both bikes are amazing in their own respects
