The 2007 Repsol 1000RR did have a polished frame. It was the only 1000RR with a polished frame. Also, it doesn''t come with the stickers on the bike, they come in an envelope that you are to apply yourself once you take it home from the dealership. There are quite a few Repsol replica''s out there, but I can tell you two tips I learned that may differentiate the real from the fake. 1.) Before you buy it, get the VIN number and call a dealership and ask them over the phone if they will tell you if the bike is real or not. They might tell you, also there are several folks on this forum who work in a dealership who would be willing to help. 2.) The last 4 digits of the VIN. I have never once seen a real Repsol where the last 4 digits were higher than 1500. Mine is #0955. Now, just because it''s less than 1500 doesn''t mean its necessarily a Repsol, but if it''s over 1500 that does mean it''s a fake. 3.) Get a chance to look at the bike up close. If the fairings don''t match up where there is a seam, then it is definitely a fake. A lot of the Hong Kong fairings are the same color and pattern, but they don''t match up correctly from fairing to fairing so you sometmies see that it doesn''t line up. From the picture, although it''s small, it looks like a very real Repsol to me. I''d like to see some bigger pictures. Also, what''s the asking price?
