This was 2 weeks after i hit a deer with no gear on just a helmet running 100m.p.h. I went sliding for about 250 ft. and walked into the emergency room. My bike got totaled, I totally dismantled the front end. It is now up and running again. Hope to ride again when it gets warm with full leathers this time.

What's up road rash.

I know it took a hit on the pride to post these pics and admit the mistake of riding w/o gear, but I'm glad you did. This should be a sticky in the new riders section

A good lesson for all. 100mph hit a deer, walked away, someone was watching over you that day!

Ooucchhhh.... good thing your still alive. Sorry to hear about your bike. I took a spill last summer at 70 mph and I had on gear. But I was hurting pretty bad the next few weeks.

now that is some nice road-rash.. good to see no broken bones - i know that sh*t gots to hurt, we all know the feeling of loosing skin.. just a heads up, get some Vitamen E for your skin (it helps regrow healthy skin and will learn with no scarring).. you can ingest or drop directly on the wound.. what did you do with the deer? (i got to ask man)

Everyone needs to wear full leathers when they ride just ask me i know. Well i cut the deer in half the front was in one ditch and the rear in the other. No i didnt have any broken bones just fractured eight vertabreighs, elbo, and pelves. Im better now and will ride with one piece suit.

wow... you really are lucky to be here telling us about this. Me thinks I need to start looking at leather. I'm not sure if my textile will help in your situation.

Some $$$ was recently made available to me and my first thought was to run out and by all kinds of crap for the bike. But my second thought was to buy some leather, which I did. I've got some speedmaster JR's on there way. Don't get me wrong, I got a PCIII as well. But at least I invested in safety too.
