I remember when I first saw a Hurricane, back in 1988. I was always hanging out at a local bike shop on my badass XR80 that I ran all around the countryside.   I came in one day to find that the owner had bought one brand new. I fell in love. I told myself that one day I''''d have one. It took me about 17 years, but....

Hey Kilgore,

My story is very similar to yours. Only I was on a XR 250 ''86 and it took me 19 years. I loved that thing.

Oh and very funny thread guys, thanks!

Yeah, I was 8 at the time when I got that 80. The 250 was a little big then. Ha ha. I was actually just looking at an XR250 the other day. Looking to get another dirtbike. I''ve always liked the 4-strokes. Not sure why, maybe just because I grew up on them. My buddy has a CR250 that''s pretty nice, though.

Yes, it looks quite nice from the front, thanks Shadow  It is however not easy to insult the others on track more than showing them the ugly Busa butt

That is a hell of a nice looking ''busa, no doubt about it. I''m usually not big on red anything, but that''s sweet.
