3000 miles oil change. Clean & Lube chain every 800-1000. Chain and Sprockets last about 6000-7000 miles. Depends on your riding style.

Lubing the chain depends on wot you have been putting it through, eg: riding through P*ss pouring rain for an extended period or through very dusty roads can turn chain lube into gunk.

And can wear your chain & sprockets, same as thrashing the buggery out of it will cause chain to stretch unevenly & eventually wear sprockets to. I eventually changed my sprockets & chain because I could not stand the kerchunk, kerchunk sound that it developed.

The Honda shop manual says 8000 miles between oil and filter changes. 500 miles for lubricating the chain. Taken care of, the chain and sprockets (steel sprockets) can easily last 15K to 20K miles.
