he''''s only pushing 135 hp on that 929 Really??? "Claimed Horsepower at crank: 150 bhp (claimed)" http://sportbike.org/specs/2000_cbr929rr.html Plus the 929 in question has a custom tune from a dyno shop (PCIII). I dont know the exact HP gained from the tune, but it cant hurt against the non-jetted 900, right?

Crank horsepower is not an accurate display of power, they only show crank power for it to seem high. They should rather give the horsepower at the wheel as power gets lost through friction of the transmission, and chain. If it was 150bhp at the wheel then that would be something to brag about. No dude, even the non-jetted 900 wouldnt stand up against a jetted 900. Jetting the bike with at least a Stage 1 Jet Kit will increase the power about 5% throughout the rev range, but used together with a Foam Air Filter you will get around a 15% power gain throughout the rev range. I know dude, I have jetted my bike and have a foam filter on, there is a shit load of a difference. If yours is stock and he has a PCIII on his 929, then Im afraid there is no comparison at all, no matter how good the rider is. Just cant argue with raw power.
