why does everyone hate the two circle lights so much?

Not bright enough.  Function > looks when life is at stake.

Thats sums it up. My taillight has circle LEDs inside it but is much brighter than any of the 2 LED light tails I seen. If they had better LEDS in em, story might be diff. The under I wanted has a custom tailight in it you dont see that often.

hmm...i was just about to order a hotbodies one.  wonder if i should go through with it now.  Any way to get them brighter?  Has anyone done it?

you can order better n brighter LEDs to replace the ones in the tail. I''ve not done it, but I did do the LED pegs.

Where can I order them and what should I order?

I’m very mechanical, but clueless on electrical and all that.  Is this a direct swap or would you have to re-wire some things?

I found this website through some searching:  http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm

Can I replace the hotbodies bulbs with something much brighter from this page?  And if so, what bulb size would I be using?

I couldn’t find out what size the hotbodies bulbs were through search.

I bought my bike used and it already had most of the fender cut off so I just screwed the plate onto the remaining part.  Some people don''t like it but it looks fine to me.

Side view.
