I tried to start my 1987 Honda CBR 600, I noticed that the ignition won't even start, and I'm just hearing clicking and the rpms rising on the tachometer. Headlights are dim, and you can barely hear the horn...

Question: Is it a low battery? and if so, is it ok to jump start it using a car battery?

yes it is low...not a good idea to jump with car...better to push start.
some people end up ok from car, others blow all fuses and then some...
not worth it.

Don't jump it from a car. A typical car battery has a whole lot more amps than a bike battery does. Your best bet is to go to walmart or something and pick up a trickle charger that is good for cars, boats, bikes and ATV's. I bought a black & decker for like $40 and it worked great. Oh, and if you do get a trickle charger, when you hook it up to the battery, make sure you take off both + & - cables.

go to a auto parts store....I just bought one...similar issue...$25...automatic turn off...install plug so that always on battery just plug in when not ridding...way easy

and +2 on no car start bro

let me give you an analogy: you put a garden house in your mouth...fits fine...someone turns on water a little...no problems...still same fit, but they blast it...issues...same idea with volts and amps

Just take the battery out and charge it. Problem solved.
