Hey Guys and Ladies

I just put a new chain on my 600 F3 and now i have some chain lube on my rear tire. it is on the part that contacts the road(the edge if it that would be used on low corners)and just want to know if there is anything that will take it off without affecting the tire?

Thanks

Troy

I just tried the dawn dish soap and nothing. Any particular tire cleaner you would suggest?

If its just a spot there is no prob riding it off. Wouldnt be any worse then scrubbing in new tires.

just be careful with tire cleaners. some of them have tire protectants in them that are basically armorall...  that is some very slippery stuff. If your really concerned, there is a product called bleach white. Its a white wall white letter tire cleaner.. it doesnt have any additives in it and eats grease fast.

Dip a rag in your tank to saturate with some fuel and wipe her down. If that doesn''t take it off, not sure what will!

OIC I was thinking all the way around the outer edge of the tire. that why i said yikes. I''m kind of wondering as well how safe NFP''s Idea is. it seems like a good idea in a pinch
