The setup - I have a PCIII, K & N filter & 2 Bros. slipon on a 2006 F4i. Had this setup for about a year w/ no problems.

But now...

If the bike sits foir more than a day or so I get a crummy, lugging idle when first starting up...whereupon the FI light comes on steady and the idle jumps to a standard (when cold) 2,000 rpm. Turning the bike on and off has no effect - same poor startup followed by the FI light and normal idle. The bike is rideable w/ no noticable performance issues. Just... the light.

Here''''''''''''''''s where it get''''''''''''''''s weird: After riding for about 10 minutes, I can shut off the bike and start it back up and, PRESTO!, no FI light and it runs like normal. The rest of the day it will be fine. Same with the next day, and the next. But sitting for 1 day or so brings the problem right back. Is this an issue with the PCIII? Do they "go bad"?

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
